A little about me:
After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Math/Applied Chemistry, I taught for several years at Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights. I have been teaching at Gabrielino High School since 2003. I enjoy reading (theology, children's books, fiction, non-fiction), walking my dog, watching sports and movies/shows on Netflix, playing sports occasionally (tennis, golf, surfing), and of course spending time with loved ones. I currently serve as a member of the School Site Council as well as the Data Team. And I've been a co-advisor of the Christian Club since 2015.
I believe that ALL students can grow (Growth Mindset) and love serving as an active contributor to their personal growth; not only as math students, but also as human beings.
