Welcome to Mr. Facher's English 3 and 4
As one of Gabrielino's English teachers, I have taught 9th, 11th (Honors and Regular), and 12th grade classes. During the 2016-17 school year I am teaching two sections of English 3 and three sections of English 4. Over the course of my past 14 years teaching at Gabrielino, I have also taught beginning Drama and have appeared in nearly a dozen of the GHS productions. Among other contributions to Gabrielino, I served for two years as one of the eight founding teacher members of the Data team and am the founding faculty advisor of GabTalks, a weeklong lunch time forum in the theatre that has occurred each year since 2011 when two former students (Sharon Liu and Raymond Lam) approached me with the idea of modeling the TEDtalks formula to foster community and celebration of individualism at Gabrielino. Education: BA from Dartmouth College; MA (English w/Literature focus) from California State University Los Angeles
