The designation recognizes schools that demonstrate sustained academic excellence and success in supporting students of all backgrounds. The goal of the Honor Roll is to find and highlight successful schools and districts and encourage collaboration among educators on best practices for raising student achievement.
The California Honor Roll is developed by Educational Results Partnership, a nonprofit data science organization that identifies schools showing three years of consistent growth in English Language Arts and Math based on statewide CAASPP data. This year’s list includes 1,834 schools and 158 districts across California. The ERP Honor Roll is the only school recognition program presented in partnership with state and local business leaders using solely objective student achievement data as the criteria for recognition.
