Carefully select 5 works that best demonstrate your skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas.
There is no preferred or unacceptable material, process, idea, style, or content.
These works may also be submitted in your Sustained Investigation section, but they don’t have to be.
Selected Works may be related, unrelated, or a combination of related and unrelated works.
For each work, you’ll submit written responses to prompts about the materials and processes used, as well as ideas that are visually evident in your work. Your responses to the prompts are evaluated along with the work you submit. The most successful responses in relation to the assessment criteria used here are clearly related to the images of work submitted, directly and completely address the prompts, and provide further evidence of skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas shown in the work. Although responses are not evaluated for spelling, grammar, or punctuation, you should make sure your responses are written clearly (e.g., don’t use extreme text speak or eliminate spaces between words).

Please turn in your work to three places - here in GC, in the shared drive critique folder, and your personal drive folder.

1. Clearly and simply state the central idea of your sustained investigation. (500 character maximum)
2. Explain how your work demonstrates your intent and the sustained investigation of your idea. You may refer to specific images as examples. (1,350 character maximum)

On Wednesday, please write a note to the student you made a portrait for. The note should have your selfie on it, your name, and a message you would like to send to the person receiving your art. It should also have the person's name and their code number ex: AF20 - C1628. I will print it out and include it with your artwork. (That will be so much easier than cutting out and gluing selfies on the back of everything!) It should be on a letter sized piece of paper that I can easily print out in color.

WFH 4 is an assigned composition. Please make a portrait that is representational, based on the photo assigned to you.

Mark completed once you have purchased your exam. Friday, October 30th is the deadline for purchase.
