Gabrielino Schedule Pick Up Date Clarification - AUGUST 4th and 5th

Hello families and scholars,

As we approach Registration, I want to take a moment and provide you with pertinent information to ensure that we all move through this experience seamlessly.
As communicated previously, Registration will take place on the following dates & times:
  • Thursday, August 4th
    • Morning: 10th grade (8:30-11:30)
    • Afternoon: 11th grade (12:30-3:30)
  • Friday, August 5th
    • Morning: 9th grade (8:30-11:30)
    • Afternoon: 12th grade (12:30-3:30)
We are providing our scholars the opportunity to meet with a counselor during Registration to make potential changes to their schedule for the 2022-23 school year only if they meet one of the following criteria:
  • Scholar is missing a class period in their schedule (hole in the schedule).
  • Scholar earned D/F at semester, and must repeat the course, yet the scholar is placed with the same instructor, and would like to change instructor.
  • Scholar is missing a class required for graduation.
  • Scholar planned to take a summer course, however did not complete the class, and therefore, requires a schedule change.
As a reminder, Counselor caseloads are the following:
  • Ms. Hagge: A-Gao
  • Ms. Borja: Garcia-Lung
  • Ms. Gonzalez: Luo-Shel
  • Ms. Ly: Shen-Z
We also understand that a small percentage of families and scholars may not be able to attend registration due to prior commitments. Families and scholars may participate in registration make-up on Monday, August 8th from 12:30-3:30 in the Student Center. Should families and scholars not be available on this date/time, they can pick up scholar schedules in the Student Center Tuesday, August 9th through Friday, August 12th from 8:30-3:30.

Also, families who have multiple scholars attending Gabrielino, whose scholars’ Registration dates fall on the same day, may attend Registration during the latter part of the day for both scholars.
We are working hard to prepare for a smooth opening; more information will follow soon. Thank all of you for your cooperation, partnership, and continued support. I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
